The James Ball Scholarship was established in 2009 to benefit full-time, degree seeking students in Ohio University's College of Health Sciences and Professions. Students are required to have a minimum GPA of 2.5 and show an interest in working in either the AmeriCorp or ComCorps programs or interning with the Athens City-County Health Department. Preference is given to students who show a good work ethic, and not necessarily the "straight A" student.
