Welcome to our 13th annual OhioHealth Race for a Reason scheduled for April 25th & 26th, 2025. This year's race is comprised of six different events:

The event is hosted by the AECOM Ohio University Center for Sports Administration and Ohio University’s Valor military ministry. The race continues to grow in popularity on campus, in the Athens community, and the surrounding area.
When participants, volunteers and supporters hear, "What is your Reason?", they understand we are talking about the charities, nonprofits , and student organizations that we serve. The idea behind participating in RFAR is to encourage on-campus and off-campus organizations to participate in a unique and innovative event that thrives on teamwork and community while raising money for the community we love. Participants are encouraged to race for a “reason” that they are passionate about. $10 of each individual’s race registration fee goes back to the "reason" of their choice.

- College of Health Sciences and Professions Triathlon/Duathlon
- QuidelOrtho 5K presented by OUCU Financial
- OU ROTC Mud Run presented by the Ohio Army National Guard
- Pure Rock 105 XTQ 3K Walk presented by Holzer Health System
- Virtual Race presented by OU - Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine
